hello, is there a XG drumkit sample bank for Motif XS?
What other ways can I make the motif , XG drumkit compatible?

The Motif XS is not XG compatible. What is it you want to accomplish?

I wanna copy an XG Drum track to a general midi sequence in PC and play it on motif, but the drum note assignments are all different i assume?

Don’t assume… try it. The drums are most likely mapped to the same keys… but the Motif XS will ignore any system exclusive messages and NRPNs designed to edit XG compatible modules… because the XS is not XG compatible. The drum maps are most likely identical.

hi bad mister, i’ve just downloaded yamaha XG softsynth, i will try and compare at home.

anyway, would like to say u guys rock. we users appreciate yamaha’s support
