Hi,

I have recorded a pattern in MO8 and stored it. I now want to connect the MO8 to my Mac via a USB cable and then record this pattern into Cubase AI4.I have installed the drive, I have installed studio manager and editor, I see MO8 in the inspector bar, I have setup a MIDI track - but I just can’t seem to record the track. I play the pattern on MO8 and press record in Cubase it does not work.

What am I missing? I am sure there are some settings to be done?

I would get the basics going first.

So you can setup a midi track in cubase, set the input to the mo, and record when you play the keyboard?

You would also set the output to the mo.

If the mo is in voice mode it won’t playback your recording unless the track is set to midi channel 1.

In a computer recording setup like that you would turn local off to prevent midi looping. Utilites/midi/switch local set to off.
