Well, I use a USB-hub with USB-Keyboard and USB-Flash card connected to it, and it works fine. The hub I use is powered from the electricity net. Perhaps you don’t use an externally powered hub.

In the demo video for the new OS, Athan used a hub for connecting the USB keyboard and a USB drive at the same time, and it was the type that is powered from the USB port.

On the other hand, mine does not.

Wonder what is the difference?

We’ve already established that it doesn’t matter if you use an unpowered hub. Perhaps only certain brands work well because of some particular way they implement the electronics in their hub?

I have a XoNet hub. Cant get much more generic than that.

Yeah, mine also works fine… er, until it doesn’t. It happens to be an Apple USB keyboard containing two USB ports. I use two seperate flash drives. The one I have problems with about 20% of the time is a Microcenter flash drive. Also, the keyboard functionality is intermittent… All told, it still operates well enough despite the occasional mishaps to greatly increase my productivity…
