I was wondering if anyone knew of a file converter to convert my W2P & W3P files to midi .......from my old classic Motif that I no longer have in my possession? I have a lot of patterns and songs that I did not get a chance to convert to midi still in the W2P & W3P files. I have since sold the classic motif and now own the modx but unfortunately, I cannot use those files on the modx ;(

I I appreciate any help or feedback. I have reached out to YAMAHA and they were absolutely no help.

Welcome to the forum.

I suspect that Yamaha told you that the way to convert those files to MIDI is to use a Classic Motif, and save SMFs (Standard MIDI Files). Unfortunately, that’s the only way to do so that I’m aware of. If anyone else knows of another method, please enlighten us.
