I’ve got a lead sound called Vintage Sync, and I’m trying to speed up the vibrato effect of the modulation wheel. Going into control set, I see where I can change the type of LFO via destination, and I can change the depth. I don’t see a setting for speed. Playing around with the LFO button to the right, changing the “speed” setting there doesn’t seem to affect the mod wheel either. How do I get a faster vibrato effect assigned to the MW?

By “Vintage Sync”, I presume you’re referring to the PRE5/C10 Voice (if not, please explain).

That Voice has the MW assignment…
Destination = Element LFO PMD (Pitch Modulation Depth)
Depth = +20
Do you want to keep that assignment while adding LFO speed change?

Besides Element LFO, there is also Common LFO.
Which do you want to have the MW change, Element or Common LFO speed?

Depending on exactly what you want to do, you might find this helpful:
