Yikes! It’s been hot here in Cali and I am not sure if my trusty MOX8 is in trouble or not but....I went to play it this morning and heard this crackling when I pressed the sustain pedal..quickly exchanged pedals to see if that was it...nope same thing..also the piano sustain effect is not working properly sustains for a few seconds then dramatically drops off to no sustain..

Any thoughts? I’ll do a factory reset...and post back

I have had a weird quirk over the last few years that only happens rarely where when I am playing the original grand piano all of sudden it sounds more like an electric piano but the display says Grand Piano? I just hit the button and Grand Piano comes back....

well the reset kind of fixed it...maybe I just never noticed before but on the higher notes some nasty “warble” in the sustain but when played with a full chord or multiple notes unnoticeable…

Onward and upward
