Not new but I missed this one I think. Seems to be more of the same with a little differences. Sound isn’t so great so perhaps there’s no difference except that the audio is providing a different interpretation of the Montage. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q6eJwrucmA8 Better here, shows some menu edits: |

That’s really awesome you started this, here. Greatly appreciated! Here’s a snapshot from my brief time with it. It’s a simple side of the Montage’s FM. Bummed to not pursue one anytime soon. |

Here’s that motion sequence video although it’s not in English but you can sort of tell how it works. |

Pay attention to the “Pianos EPs Clavs Organs Demo” - the “FM Grand Piano” (not demoed elsewhere) is something else. |

The Montage demos have kind of slowed down to a crawl lately. 65% of them are repetitive, same sounds over and over. Yamaha needs someone with more than just playing ability to demonstrate the diversity of performance sounds and how editing and creation works. Of 1,900 performances we’ve all heard approximately 30. It’s been kind of a haphazard marketing strategy thus far with everyone playing the same presets and with the audio quality all over the board. You can live and die by proper and/or improper marketing (free youtube marketing thus far). I expect (hope) something better will come. Those sterile sound clips of each performance that are out there put me to sleep. I skipped over those immediately. The Tyros 5 was marketed 100% better I think but then again Yamaha had to actually pay for it. |

Not sure about T5, but the T4 main demo was a jaw-dropper for me. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qb2z0fD6CRg T5 - not so much. |
