I know it is a long time I have been away from this forum. 2014 was a very hectic and dramatic year for me. In spite of suffering a very heavy cold and flue right now I have maneged to put this song together. I am not sure wheter the mix of sound is correct. because of my cold my hearing is not really optimal.

I hope you guys like it. It is not a surprising kind of song from my hands.

Jan

Hi Jan,
1) beautiful picture,
2) the song is a typical dreamy one; I get the feeling that the
bass and the speed is a bit too much in comparison with the dreamy
character.

Any way:
you’re back and many others who contributed in the past are not.
Where have they all gone?
;JOOP!

Joop

Thanks for yr nice words. I made this song yesterday while I suffered a heavy cold which also had an effect on my hearing. It sounded like my ears were full of stuff😊 so it does not surprise me that the bass is a little loud in this track.

BTW I wish you and all motifators a healthy new and a productive musical year.

Answering your question about the disappeared motifators is:  I think they all have made it in the music business and are feeling now to good to share some music with us, or they failed totally.

Nice track Jan, your riffs always blow me away.
I do hope you get well soon from the flue, I recovered from it two weeks ago.
I don’t post on motifator right now because of the fire that took everything from me,, BUT I’LL BE BACK LOL.

Thanks for sharing bro.

Hi Jerri

I know you are now not able to produce any music, because of that terrible fire that demolished your home and studio totally. Fortunately you and your family are still in good health.

I am sure some time this year you will create music again.

Thanks for listening

Nice work Jan, like being in a jazz club. Those are some quality sounds you’re using.

Sorry to hear about your home, Funk Master.

SteelyFan

Sorry for my late respons. I suffered a terrible flue last two weeks. Thanks for listening. The great sounds were coming from an old Tyros3 I picked up lately.

SteelyFan, it’s ok, we just moved into another one, and I’m getting a home studio together, and will bring the funk sometime later this year.

...makes me want to pick up my Fedora ( that I don’t have ) and head on down to the local Jazz club ( that we also don’t have ).

It was definitely a mistake to listen to it at work though.... I’m now so relaxed I don’t want to do anymore work this afternoon....and it is Friday !!!

Good work.....

Hi Jan.

Nice piece of music, with a sweetly moving groove going on.  I do like it’s captivating flow, and can see that your having been tackled by the flu hadn’t done anything to your fingering ability :).  Love your playing.

Keep up the really fantastic work, my friend.
