Yeah. I know it’s a long time ago. I am just starting up a little bit with a very short try out.

Thanks Jan. That short intro has an almost Steely Dan quality to it. The sax lead sounds like it was planned out in advance. The only weak spot was the lead out from 2:02. Otherwise, a solid effort.

It’s good to have you back.

Steely and Funkmaster. Thanks for listening. You were right about the sax lead. Most of it was written out on paper first as kind of a guide line for the improvisation.

It gives the sax lead a sense of structure and utility. Some of the best solos ever recorded were pre-planned.

Just travelled back, a little bit, to see what else of yours I might have missed, and am so glad I did - and that I happened across this piece.  Man, I know you had informed me that you’d picked up your sax, again, but I had not heard (at least as best as I can recall) you actually playing on one, before.  You are as gifted on the sax keys as you are on piano keys.  Bear in mind that I (through present necessity) had to listen to your song via the speaker on my IPad, but I can tell - even in spite of that - the quality of what was being delivered to me.  As soon as I can I am going to call it up on a true system, and know that I will be even more immersed in it.

Yes, this is REALLY, REALLY NICE.
