Hi Brothers and Sisters,

Within a couple of weeks I trade my TYROS3 in for a TYROS 5. Of course I will keep my XS8 a little longer, till the successor of the XF arrives. LOL. Therefore I created this sound experiment using the “breath sax SA2 voice” of the TYROS 3, combined with a Garritan Instant Orchestra sound setting, played on the XS8 keyboard and recorded as midi in CUbase 7.

I am interested in what you think about this sound colour picture

Jan

Great film score, Jan.
And a very interesting sound.
In the past I found that kind of sound with Jo Zawinul (Weather Report) and with Kit Watkins during his album “Sunstruck”.

Hi Joop,

Thanks for your responds.

BTW, as soon as I know when I can fetch my TYROS 5 I let you know the date by email. Perhaps you want to join me to collect that machine and looking around in the shop of Oostendorp. LOL

I like this, and I look forward to hearing that T5 Jan, you’ve made the T3 seem real in the way that you play it.
