I haven’t gotten into the nuts and bolts of the update, but at first glance I am pleased with what I have seen so far. The “Keyboard” was the first “addition” that I examined and that will be very convenient working up edits. In as much as this is an “Edit” Week, I will get a little more into it.
An Arp Editor would be nice. Personally, I do mapping away from the axe and computer and would love to print out a screen shot of the contents of the Library in the respective modes.

I am very happy user of Melas Motif XS tools and Waveform editor. There is one thing I am wondering, though. When loading the user voices from XS to PC it takes much longer to load the voices with XS tools than with Yamaha editor. I don’t know if it is possible to develop the XS tools in this regard but I sure like the speed of Yamaha editor. |
