I’ve been reading a lot about free voices, patterns etc. for the Motif XS. Is there a page here at motifator where it’s all listed?

(And by the way - why only 3 preset patterns in the XS? In the ES there were around 35?).

Yamaha… Wouldn’t it be possible to make a separate download section for free stuff somewhere here on Motifator.com - with precise descriptions for each download? Is it just me, or is it just a BIG mess the way it’s handled now?

Furthermore, I just got the XS, and with it came a USB-stick with some free stuff on it. For instance “European Loyalty Program - Version 2”. Ok - can I get version 1 aswell?

Yeah, a upload/download section would be nice. All we can do is make threads and upload to them, but they get lost in time. Different languages makes it even more difficult to find voices.

If not its own section, how about making certain threads “stickies” or notices that place that thread on top of others in the SOUNDS section. I personally would love to go to the sound section, and have ALL the officially released/user created, voices smiling at me for download in a thread labeled, say “Motif XS Voice Collection” where ppl ONLY posted voices. Imagine the collection! I believe it would encourage people to contribute more often too, seeing it all consolidated.

You could then do this in other sections as well. This way you could have the most frequently asked questions/problems for each DEVICE placed right uptop the other threads so Newton the newbie or forgetful Frank, hell, even Roberto ‘research?’ “NO” has virtually no chance of missing it and can get to resolution.

Im fine with motifator the way it is, but it’d be nice, to say the least. I wouldnt want to take from the interaction with Yamaha. That there is PRICELESS.
