I’m moving some patches from my ES8 to a Motif ES Rack and it won’t save the attack settings after they’re saved in the Rack ES memory . Also tried to save the settings manually in the Rack unit itself with no luck. Am I missing something?

Presuming I’m understanding what you posted…

It would be very unusual for only one aspect of Voice Parameter data to not be stored. Please verify that you’re using the proper procedure. See Saving the settings (Store) on page 49 of the Rack ES Owner’s Manual (http://download.yamaha.com/file/8417).

If that doesn’t help, you might want to verify that the OS in your Rack ES is the most recent version (v 1.03). To check:
Start with Rack ES power off. Simultaneously press [EXIT] + [PAGE>] + [MUTE/SEL/ENTER] buttons and hold them while powering on the Rack ES. Read the Firmware.
