Hi Folks,

Due to… staffing difficulties, I’m covering bass on Saturday night in my band using my left hand.

I’ve added bass to my usual set of programming and routed it out asL output so that it goes separately to the house mix.

Is it possible to select a mono mode on a voice and have it always choose the lowest note being played (rather than the most recent)?  This would mean it wouldn’t catch multiple bass notes if I play chords on my left hand.

Any other tips welcome.

Yes, you have to edit the voice of course.

EDIT -> COMMON -> [SF2]PLAY MODE

Mono/Poly*
Selects monophonic or polyphonic.
Settings: mono, poly
mono
When set to “mono,” the selected Voice is played back monophonically
(only a single note is played back simultaneously). For many
instrument sounds (such as bass and synth lead), this allows a more
natural and smooth sounding legato performance than when this
parameter is set to “poly.”
poly
When set to “poly,” the selected Voice is played back polyphonically
(multiple notes can be played back simultaneously or a chord is played
back).

I don’t see a low or high note priority parameter for mono voices though. The default behavior is last note played.
