im considering getting a breath controller for horns . what is the best? it looks like bs2 and the moxf8 dont have the compatibility plug wise.

If you can fund a BC1 or BC3 or compatible you van build this.
I did for BC1 from my DX7. You can translate the text att the right att the bottom using Google translate.

You should try to find Yamaha BC3a, the latest device that Yamaha had on the market. Since Motif ES none of Motifs including MOXF don’t have BC input. For that purpose you should buy something like MIDI Solutions adapter. I’m using it with my Motif Rack XS, MOXF and vintage PLG-150VL plugin board mounted in MU2000EX. Works fine and it could be easily set with various parameters.
