Hi,
Scrolled to “all” and does not show on the file list, but the X3A shows fine. Tried 2 different thumb drives.
The read me page for this files states:
I do have 2 boards installed to hold samples......i believe these are the boards they are talking about? Why cant i see the X6A file?
Any advice is appreciated.

The thread chasmanian referred you to explains the problem. You’re trying to load a file meant for a MOXF into your Motif XF. The XF “knows” which files are correct for it, and properly shows the X3A one, and not the X6A. See page 236 of the XF Reference Manual (http://download.yamaha.com/file/48531) for a listing of file types compatible with the XF. |

Hi, this links to something I want to accomplish: I have a gig abroad and can’t bring my MOXF8, so I have to rent a synth abroad. They don’t have a MOXF available for hiring, but a Motif might be. Is there any way how I can transfer my performances from the MOXF to the Motif?

Welcome to the forum.
The closest Motif to a MOXF is the Motif XF. Third party software can help with file conversion, but there might still be some issues. This thread could be helpful in determining if there would be a problem:
