I use Motif XF6 and Roland G8. I control the xf via midi from my G8.
Everything works perfect with changing sounds, splitting,.....

But: in performance mode on the XF(xf) it isn’t possible to change the user-banks (control on G8!). It only works in user1.

In voice mode every user-bank-changes work perfectly.

A friend of mine has the same problem but both of us can’t explain why it doesn’t work.

I hope someone understand my problem an can help :-)

The following is from page 127 of the XF Data List (http://download.yamaha.com/file/52366).
MSB/LSB for Performance mode Bank Select:
63/64   User 1
63/65   User 2
63/66   User 3
63/67   User 4

If Bank Select works for Voice mode, it should work for Performance mode as well. If not, make sure the G8 is sending those numbers - some devices count starting at 0(zero), others start with 1(one). Using MIDI-OX (http://www.midiox.com/), I verified that the MSB/LSB above work when the XF is in Performance mode.
