I copied a Midi File to song mode and started editing track 10 which contains the Drums, when editing it shows the Program Change, Expression, Effects and Volume. I deleted PC with F6 and it gets deleted, then I went and chose a different drum voice, but the rewinding it choses again the original drum voice which I believe is a general midi one.

My question is why if I’m deleting Program Change it keeps changing to the original drum voice ?

Based on your description, the MIDI file you’re using is probably a GM one, and has a GM Reset command at the beginning.

See http://www.motifator.com/index.php/support/view/a_short_tutorial_creating_proper_gm_files
Determine if there’s a GM Reset, and remove it. You may have to edit Bank Select and Program Change on other tracks.
