There’s quite a few really good sections in there, keep messing around with it, develop a solid progression to follow.
Love that bass.

Jerry,

Thanks for listening. This track was actually not meant as a complete song, but more as a show off of some great instrument voices on the TYROS 5. The “mute trumpet” and “Jazz flute” .

While I was recording messing around with some voices, I stumbled on those two voices and started some of the R&B;styles with it, and recorded it real time without worrying about chord progresses and so on. LOL. Just for the fun.

Did you noticed the moment the flute came in playing a little duet with the trumpet. When I listened that part back I was surprised about how that sounded. Goose pimples on my arm.

Yes that’s some inspiring stuff right there brother.
So much for having a band when the T5 sounds this great, it’s hard to tell the difference.
There were several spots in this concept that could be used in a song, but yes the overall sound of those voices is great.

You should be half way through all the voices now. lol

It’s a good demonstration. The samples for brass instruments and drums sound a lot better on the TYROS 5 than on the Motif.

Hi Jerry,

No, I think I have just tried 2% of all voices on the T5. I simply have not the time to check all of it. Maybe during Christmas.

Nevertheless the T5 is still an arranger, not comparable with the MOTIFXS or XF. I am so lucky to have both, T5 and XS8. LOL

I bet that thing is loaded with voices, I heard some of the on youtube.
I was saying the sound of the voices sound better than the XS, I don’t know about the XF though.
Your going to be a very busy brother during Christmas time lol.

Hey, I know what, look online, and find a Christmas carol, in midi format, load it in that T5, and assign voices to the tracks, so that it does not use GM sounds,, lets hear it. lol

That’s how I use to do my PSR.
I think I still can load songs on a memory stick and playback from that on it.

Hi Jan,

nice one again !

To be honest: I clicked on the file, and after download it started playing in the background through my Itunes-player automatically. I really thought my Itunes was opening a Smooth Jazz radio-channel ! And then I realized by the title it was your track :-)

Really, from the first second I liked it.

And a very good show-off of the sounds of the T5 !

Keep up the good works !
