Hey All, I picked up a ES6 for pennies and the issue is when powering on, the display shows the Yamaha logo and it does nothing. I understand you can update Firmware with the SmartCard but my issue is I dont have one and I cant format one as the synth will not boot to get into the menu to format one. Is there a different way to update via the USB drive with the .pgm file maybe? Update: I did manage to get to see the Boot Strap version 1.0 and the Firmware Version 1.2 when I did the Power/Rec/Edit sequence. Any help would be great!! Aloha, |
