After alot of trial and error, I FINALLY found a way to get my 20 yr old Sonar Cakewalk music software-to run my Moxf as a sound engine. You have to download the ‘Motif XS .ins’ definitions file into your computer music software’s assign instruments section. That seems to be the ONLY way to run your Cakewalk software, etc sequences-and have a Moxf as the sound engine. You can find the .ins files to import on your computer music software right here in Motifator.

Have you seen the Bandlab offer of the latest version of Cakewalk for free when you sign up for Bandlab?

Worth a look perhaps.
