I have an s90es and for the first time have a need to create new perfomances. I am the keyboardist for a local play and the music suggests specific splits.  Having semi-conquered the manual description of creating a new performance, I have a piano sound from A0 to C6 and vibraphone from C#6 to the top. Now I need to lower the register on the vibraphone by 2 octaves but can’t find directions. Any help would be appreciated.

Welcome to the forum.

From the EDIT screen for the vibraphone Part…
Press [F4]TONE > [SF1]TUNE
Set Note Shift to -24 (twenty-four semitones down, which is 2 octaves)

Details of Performance Part Edit begin on page 152 of the S90ES Owner’s Manual. For Note Shift see page 154.

Thank you. That makes sense but I couldn’t find it. Didn’t look far enough back in the manual.

You’re welcome. Most needed information is in the Owner’s Manual (or the Data List), although sometimes it isn’t easy to find or follow.
