i am new to this forum , but I read a lot
of stuff in the last 2 year in this forum,
now I am a new member .

Please excuce my english i am german , and i hope
my school english is enough ;-)

My hardware:
Motif XS 7 with Mlan
HD Recorder AW 2400 with an 8 channel extension
Mixer 01V96 V2 with Mlan.

I love then easy routing from the AW2400 and no Problems with
driver, and now i want plug the Motif with the Mixer ,
the mixer has 4 omni out and 2 track sp/dif out
and this in the aw2400 in the extension card.

Or ist it better that i use the mixer and the motif xs
with the Computer (PC).
And let the HD Recorder as a stand alone.

Has anybody an Idea?

Hi,

my English is German too:-) So far I was able to connect using the graphical patchbay the mlan connections from Motif Rack XS (mlan16e2-card) as slave to my AW 2400 (my16mlan) as master. This was easily done on Mac OS X 10.6.3. Be careful to attach in the patchbay only AW and Motif (worldclock, midi, audio). I could record output of the Motif as stereo signal on two mLan channels.

Or you edit the parts of the multi so that you have a stereo output for each part. For example part 1->mlan 1&2;, part 2->mlan 3&4;and so on.

And the best, this will work next time you switch on your devices without the computer.

Mlan on my AW2400.
