Hi
I cant figure out how to connect my motif to my computer to be able to use the motif sounds. As of now im connected as follows: Keybord midi out-motif midi in, motif spdif out-interface in, interface midi out- motif midi thru

Whats wrong, I dont feel very intelligent…

You need to specify your core audio input interface as whichever interface you are connecting the S/P DIF to. You don’t say which version of Logic you are running, but in Logic 9 it’s in the ‘Logic -> Preferences -> Audio’ dialogue box, where you specify the input and output audio interface.

1. which MOTIF do you have?

2. do you have a mLAN interface on your MOTIF?

3. do you have a I/O device between your MOTIF and computer? if so, which interface are you using?

4. which computer? PC or Mac?

5. which OS? XP, Vista, Windows7 or MacOS up to 10.5.8 ?
