The one listed on the site doesn’t work with Vista and the Studio manager.

Neither does the AN editor on the site, but I found a post from Bad Mister(?) in one of the threads with a later version that does work, so I’m assuming there’s one for the DX also, but I can’t find it

Any help appreciated.

You should check OS compatibility list at http://www.yamahasynth.com.
There you will find that NEITHER of plug-in editors work on Vista. That’t the one reason why I stayed with XP SP2 Pro.
The latest version of plug-in editors are:

AN Expert Editor for WindowsXP/Me/98/2000 version 1.2.2
DX Simulator for WindowsXP/Me/98/2000 version 1.2.1
Editor for PLG150-DR for WindowsXP/Me/98/2000 version 1.0.1.1
Editor for PLG150-PC for WindowsXP/Me/98/2000 version 1.0.1.1
VH Effect Editor for Windows XP/Me/98/2000 version 1.2.0
VL Visual Editor for WindowsXP/Me/98/2000 version 1.2.2

1.2.2 AN editor works fine with Vista and Studio Manager.

EDIT:  Never mind.  I found the updated DX sim in the archives.

It works fine with Vista and shows up in the studio manager.

This should be work also on Vista.
DX Simulator 1.2.1 (see attached ZIP file).

P.S. Since I know that Yamaha have discontinued PLG boards, I’ve bought mine on time and downloaded all needed software to keep it by myself.
