I have a Mac mini 2018 and the latest Big Sur operating system. But PT doesn’t see my Box 6, and no signal midi or audio is received in the mix window. I have set PT tom receive on bus3-4 as well as chosen the USB midi output on my MOX 6 plus the other requirements in the manual but still no signal.
Getting so frustrated but and would love some help with this problem. I’m sure it’s something simple like I need a driver or something.

Indeed, you need a driver - based on your post, the Yamaha Steinberg USB Driver for macOS 11.

Thank-you for responding...I installed the driver altho the process on Big Sur was straight forward, not the complicated instructions they supplied. Had to unblock ‘Yamaha’ from security cause it blocked it.
But still no input from Mox to Daw.  Mox never comes up in Audio Devices or Playback engine.
Any other thoughts?

The installation should only be “complicated” for Macs with the Apple processor - the 2018 mini has an Intel one.

That sort of situation isn’t uncommon with modern operating systems.
