Hi dvdv1234,

Automation will only ever work inside of Logic.

Instead, you will need to draw your program change data into the MIDI controller lane accessible via Hyper Draw in the Piano Roll window if you want to make it transferable.

(You’ll see it on a menu with all the other controllers)

i did what you said on the Hyper Draw in the Piano Roll window and then save the region as a midi file and then uploaded the midi file to my motif xf but when i press play the voice does not change.
when i am in pattern mode and press “edit” i can see that there is a command “pc"(program change) but there is no voice change.
what am i doing wrong here ?

Have you tried drawing in Bank Select data as well as Program Change.

This way the exact voice from the exact bank will be chosen

The first line of the display picture you posted is:
001:01:000  PC   000-006 94 Initialized V
Bank MSB-LSB shown is 000-006, but that isn’t a legitimate XF bank.

Acceptable Bank MSB/LSB are in the XF Data List, Bank Select table on page 127.

For now, if you can’t figure out how to get that data from Logic to the XF, you could edit the XF Event List. When the Bank Select is correct, the name of the Voice will replace “Initialized V”.
