I’ve created a WAV file of one of my XF songs into a USB stick. It plays nicely on my Windows Media Player but I can’t figure out how to convert it to MP3 format. Can anyone advise me on how this is done? Thanks.

The best tool for this and much more is AUDACITY:

You can convert it with Cubase. When you installed and registered Cubase you were given an option to get the MP3 convertion function. (The Motif XF does not deal with MP3s) transfer your .wav file to your computer and convert it with Cubase.

Thanks for the replies. Unfortunately, I’ve been unable to get either way to work.
So I’ve gone back to using my Yamaha Pocketrak and recording straight to MP3 format - only problem with this is that I get a phasing effect on the hi-hat and cymbals.
Does anyone know how I can get rid of this?
