I haven’t surfed Motifator as much as I used to, or would like to, but I’m curious if there are policies or restrictions on selling motif related gear on this forum, OR is it simply prohibited.

Hmmm.  No reply yet.  Anyways, I bought an MD-BT01 a while back that I used once, and since its really Yamaha specific, I wasn’t certain where to post.  Any suggestions appreciated.

Here is a copy/paste from an older thread asking this question.  Mr. Motif says: 

Our policy with regards to selling on the forums is that we don’t allow commercial advertising, which mainly applies to sound / content libraries (posts advertising trainers or toner cartridges get removed as swiftly as we can, too). It’s harder to pirate a fully formed Motif.

In the past people have posted instruments for sale and we have no real policy against that. The only caveat is caveat emptor (and venditor) since we don’t offer any form of escrow or broker service. We have considered setting something up like this but we’ve not progressed beyond the considering stage.

Paypal would be preferred as it offers some protection for both parties.  I’m all about transparency (to a degree) and you can check out my facebook page to “check me out”.  I tried selling on local facebook marketplace sites, but I live in a rural Louisiana town and there’s probably only one or two other motifs (and not even an xf).
