I purchased and loaded the AIR pad sounds that I purchased today. But......they replaced the Chick Corea Mark V sounds that were in user bank 4...And I cannot find where they are....I presume they were replaced by the “AIR” sounds.....so.......How do I reload the Mark V sounds and still keep the AIR sounds?........I hope this is a clear explanation.....Any help would be appreciated........Is there a bank or place that I can safely load new sounds without losing what is stored now?

Loading a file as Type “all” will overwrite all User data. You can choose which User location a Voice Bank will load, using Type “1 bank voice”.

You should also be aware that reloading the Chick’s Mark V Voices will cause its Waveforms to be duplicated on the flash memory module unless the Load option for the module is set to “None”.

Also, what I am confirming is that, all original voices in the Motif xf8 are permanent....You are just assigning some of them to a User bank for editing or saving, correct?

What’s stored in FL1 is sample data. Voices are stored in the User banks. Sample libraries store to both locations.

No. Unless overwritten, Voices in the USER 1 bank are not found in the Preset banks. Please read my first post in the thread I previously linked to.
