Have had my Motif XF for about 4 months and still learning a lot.

I have samples I assigned in a patch and saved them to my FL1024M memory cards. While the system is powered up, all is good. As soon as I power it down, I have to go in and load the samples from the FL1024M memory card to make the patch and performance work again to play the samples. I have looked for other posts on here but cannot find any so any direction that is helpful.

How do I get the Motif to automatically load the patches form the FL1024M?? see lots about auto load but seems from a USB stick. Turned it on anyways and no luck.

Hi Dan!

I think the main problem is that you load your library into MOTIF XF RAM instead of Flash memory. And that’s why you need to load your library again after restart.

In the File menu (bottom right) you need to set proper destination to load your library:
USR -> FL1
FL1 -> FL1
FL2 -> FL1

If you have two flash modules installed than you can load something to FL2 as well.

It seems like you have settings like this:
USR -> USR
FL1 -> USR
FL2 -> USR
