This is probably old hat, but when I save “All” with sample and everything else checked and execute it seems to be saved. When I load it, I get an ERROR message of “illegal file.” Here’s what I am doing: I’m writing over the factory Performances with my new Performances, saving them on the MOXf8 and they have stayed solid as a rock on the internal memory of the keyboard. But when I try to save them on the USB stick and load to another MOXf8 I get the “Illegal file” message. Can someone hold my hand and tell me (What I’m Doing Wrong) and how to save Performances properly. I will be flying into gigs and all I get to bring along is my USB stick. HELP!!!

Welcome to the forum.

This is the MOTIF XF forum, not the MOXF forum. They are not the same model.

Therefore your post begs a question…
Are you saving an “All” (X6A) file on a MOXF, and trying to load it to another MOXF, or are you trying to load that file to a MOTIF XF? A MOTIF XF won’t load a MOXF “All” (X6A) file.

Try this…
Save an “All” file on the MOXF, then try loading it back to the same MOXF. Let us know the result.

Please post future MOXF questions to its own forum:
