Hello,
I was wondering if someone could explain how to move a voice from one smart card file to another. I have a particular sound “1999” that was saved on an older file called “80s” that is no longer on the Motif itself, and I need to move it to a different file, also on the card, called “prince” and I can’t seem to figure it out. I have a history of accidentally deleting things and definitely do not want to repeat that!!  Thanks!

Loading Voice data from the SmartMedia/USB
storage device

It explains the procedure on page #87 of the ES owners manual which is available online.

Its a relatively simple procedure just moving one voice into a slot or voice that you know that you won’t use, save the sound to that location, and then re-save it to your smart-media card.
