Hello everyone,
I bought my XS8 back in 2008 when it came out, and still love the thing.
Only the C3 note gives me a long release, for example a FM8 dx7 bass, nice short bass.
See attachment, 8mb movie. In the midi setting is the setting Is this bug? I hope that something can help me, because playing a sound and the note has a long release its not playable. Thanks in advance for all your help.
greetings
I use Logc pro x and the FM8 plugin.

Welcome to the forum. There is no setting or bug in the Motif XS that can cause the problem you described. It’s likely that you have an unwanted controller setting in Logic Pro X. Look in Preferences > Control Surfaces (Controller Assignments) and Key Commands, and check for assignments related to note C3. Remove any found.
See this thread…
If you still can’t find the solution, I suggest that you post about it in the Logic Pro X forum here:

You’re welcome.

I suggest that you keep looking at Logic Pro. If the XS was the culprit, the difficulty with C3 would exist on everything you played, in any mode, on any track, etc.
If you don’t find the problem yourself, another possible place to ask about it:
