Hello,
Why does this happen? How can I get this volume in my created performances? Thanks, Jake |

Here are a few offhand possible causes… It could be due to the Output Volume setting for the Performance. See page 60 of the MOXF Reference Manual (http://download.yamaha.com/file/60478). It could be that Yamaha has chosen EQ settings (see page 61) or Effects (such as the VCM EQ 501 or the VCM Compressor 376) to boost levels. I suggest that you examine such Parameter settings of the Yamaha Performances as a starting point - one of the reasons that the Yamaha Performances exist is as examples. |

I finally answered my own question and found a gold mine in the archives. I just didn’t know what to ask or search for. This is the article that answered my questions. http://www.motifator.com/index.php/support/view/introducing_motif_xs_effects |

Another thing to consider is whether Parameter with Voice has been turned on before selecting a Voice for a Part in a Performance. http://www.motifator.com/index.php/support/view/mox6_mox8_parameter_with_voice |
