First post on the boards. :) Background: I use my Mox6 as my primary sound source, with an 88 key weighted controller beneath it providing MIDI. I set my layers up in Songs, allowing me to set different active tracks to different MIDI channels. This is needed to allow me to have multiple instruments spread across the 2 keyboards. I need a rising synth sound, like if I set a slow portamento and notes 3 octaves apart. I need to be able to trigger the sound with a single key, though. The complexity of some of the songs don’t allow me to use both hands to trigger, and I also need the real estate freed back up that having multiple octaves dedicated to a single rising note eats up. Anyone able to help? |

Welcome to the forum. You could create a User Arpeggio, using the Put Track to Arp Job in Song/Pattern modes.
See:
Once the Arp is created and applied to a Voice, that Voice can be assigned to a Song/Pattern Part and Note Limit used to restrict it to a single key, as desired. |

Thanks for the response! So I can create an Arpeggio that starts with one note 3 octaves down from the keypress followed by the note pressed, and held for as long as I hold the key down? Set it so it is re-triggered each time I press it? I don’t want it recorded into the track. I know the Songs are meant to be sequences, but everything I do is live. It’s just that the Performances don’t support setting layers to independent MIDI channels for some reason. |

If you can record a glide that you find satisfactory for your purposes, then it should be possible to convert it into an Arp.
