Hi! I have been emailing Easy Sounds for some of their various free soundsets, per the instructions in the Yamaha Music Production Guides. I sent an email to for the Oriental Instruments pack (Motif XS), as instructed. I have an XF, but it can load XS files. I have not received any replies with the link, as I had with the other emails. I have attached a screenshot of the page, which is in the 10/2011 edition of the Yamaha Music Production Guide. Any ideas? Thanks!

Check recent issues of the Music Production Guide for the email address for the updated offer that includes the soundset you’re asking about.

This was one of the free libraries.

The more recent issues of the Guide only list it as part of the European Loyalty Program, in which you have to send them the serial number of your XS, versus the previous issue had it as a separate promotion.

All of the other promos listed in this issue of the guide have still worked, as I have received the sound sets for them.

Is there any way to get this set anyway?

Note the email address is (not xsgoodies!!)
Just put Motif XS Goodies in the subject line.
You get the link with password straight back via email.

Note that you can also get the MO/MOX and the MOXF library collections the same way.
Also have you tried the sound sets available from Joel on his Moessieurs website.

I don’t see anything in what you attached that supports the part of your post that I emphasized. I’m unaware of such a requirement.

My mistake - the serial number requirement was in some of the earlier editions. In this edition, it says that when I send the email, I will be registered for the European Loyalty Program. Is it really possible to register for the program, as I am in the U.S.?

If after reading what you earlier attached causes you for any reason to be concerned, please do what you feel is appropriate.

What I meant by, “Is that legal,” was that, since I live in the United States, how could I be registered for a European Loyalty Program, as I do not live in Europe?

I believe the free libraries are made available as an introduction to what Easy Sounds offers, in the hope that you may purchase one or more of their offerings.
