I’m hoping that folks on this forum can point me in the right direction.

Is it possible to program your own arpeggios in the Motif Rack XS? I’ve got a couple of patterns I really want to program, and it would be great if there was a way to do this.

Thanks in advance,
Pat

My understanding: user arps come from sequencer. And my understanding XS rack doesn’t have a sequencer. I’m not an authority on this.

Indeed, a User Arp can be created on models that have a sequencer, using the “Put track to Arpeggio” Job.

An “authority” is just someone who’s slogged through the morass before you did. ;-)

Rack XS as its predecessors doesn’t have user memory locations for holding user presets, only preset arpeggios. Keyboard versions holds up to 256 user arpeggios.

Thanks gang. Appreciate the help. Too bad here. I’m actually looking at migrating toward a MOXF 8. I’ll start another thread on that though :)

Once again, a simple question asked and smart arse answers that don’t help!

What offends you about the posts in this thread preceding yours?

What other “simple question” was responded to with answers you found to be unhelpful?

If you have a more helpful reply to PatAzz, please post it.
