I would like to hook up two keyboards in order to play different sounds at the same time.
I thought about setting up a multimode:
For example:

Keyboard one: layered sound (piano and strings) So I need to create layers by selecting two voices and receive them on the same channel. Let’say channel 1.
Keyboard two: I want a organ sound. So I thought about receiving this sound in channel 2. So I created a third voice and lead that to channel 2.
But who can I send different midi signals from both keyboard

I have iConnect MIDI2 and I can already use the two keyboard to send a midi signal (both same sounds), but now I want them to send both their own signal but on a different channel so I can get different sounds for each keyboard.
I have two DIN channels I use on the iConnect MIDI2 (DIN 1 and DIN 2)

Thanks for your support,

Jacques

I solved the issue. I had to assign the midi channel in both keyboards and Motif XS Rack.
So channel 1 for keyboard 1 and channel 2 for keyboard 2.

Thanks,
Jacques
