I have:
Mac OS 10.6.8
MOTU Ultralite mk3 (NOT hybrid) - It has firewire.
Brand New Motif-Rack XS
FW16E - Firewire Board Installed in Motif Rack
Logic 9

I’ve plugged the Motif Rack into the MAC via the FW16E firewire cable.
I’ve daisy chained the Firewire from the MOTU to the Motif Rack.

Which one of the downloads do I need?
I’ve read them all, but still unsure.

The Stand alone Editor will not work on OS 10.6.8
So I’m guessing I need to use Cubase to get some kind of Editing interface.

I don’t want to ramble, but I’m not even sure what I need to download?

The stand-alone editor works on 10.6.8 for me.

You will need the Yamaha drivers. Go to download.yamaha.com.

Hi Stephen

MOTIF-RACK XS Editor Standalone / VST V1.6.6 for Mac OS X
is the only Stand Alone I can find,

The requirements:
OS
Mac OS X 10.8 / 10.9 / 10.10 / 10.11

So even though 10.6.8 is not listed it will still work?

Maybe I’m at a stand alone download other than the one you are using.

Could you let me know which download you are use for a stand alone?
