Hallo everybody,

Is there a keyboard shortcut, in Cubase 8 pro, to toggle between used automations?
I would like, during editing the automations of a midi track to switch (without touching the mouse, or using the pop up-window) between let’s say the exression-, the mod- and the sustain automation of the particular midi track, that is being currently edited.

I would also like to open and close the automation panel while in key-editor.

Since I’m not very familiar with macros, if you suggest creating them, could you please guide me through the proceedure?

I have seen by the way these shortcuts in Pro-Tools, but do not know if they are build in, or the engineer programmed them.

I could partially find what I was looking for.
I guess the keyword was “Controller lanes” and not “automation”.
It is possible to create controller lane setups (presets) and save them. It is also possible to assign a key-command to open and hide each of these (1-16) setups.
What I could not do, is toggle between the setups with a single/ couple of shortcut(s). A command that triggers something like:
“Go to next controller lane setup” and “go to previous controller lane setup”.
I’m also missing the corresponding commands to create a macro.
Does anyone have a better idea? Did I miss something?

Greetings
