I have just purchased the 01V96i. I am having a problem with Saving the Settings from the 01V96v2 in Studio Manager so that I can transfer them into the ‘96i’. I am connected via USB from the Mixer to the computer but can’t seem to get the information Saved. I have the Mixer set for connection to Cubase along with settings that I have stored for use in practice etc. I would appreciate a Step by Step as to how I can ‘Save’ the data in the Mixer into Studio Manager then transfer it back to the 96i. Thank you in advance. |

One of the reasons why I am dedicated to Yamaha is because of its ‘Support’. After posting this inquiry, I went on the Yamaha site again to try and find ‘some’ documentation for my task. I stummbled into the ‘Contact’area, signed in and posed my inquiry there as well. I ran my errands and came back a few hours later and while sitting there having lunch, I got a member,Ed, of the Support Team and he walked me through the set up and showed me what I was missing. He was deliberate and patient with me and within the hour, I was set up and able to store the necessary information for transfer. I guess actions like ‘this’ is why sometimes I get in a lather over people who piss and moan about Yamaha and their equipment. For ‘ME’, now going on 12 or 13 years here in the Motifator and contacting Yamaha directly, I have NEVER come away without my issues resolved.
Yamaha stands behind their products and gear. I wish every company was as diligent as Yamaha in that area.

For real. I’ve been at this for a long time. From where I’m presently seated as I gaze around the room I notice various gear and equipment from better than 2 dozen manufacturers. None of them come close to Yamaha for support. No question about it. And if you ever happen by the dude that repairs gear, take a look what’s on his “to do” shelf. Yep, Yamaha has made my life easier,no doubt. Not that I don’t enjoy other makes, just sayin. Stone |
