Hi. In “Performance” mode, if 4 different Voices are selected in a Performance, how do you adjust the reverb volume level and other effects of each individual voice separately? Thank you

Also see [F2]OUTPUT, [SF2]EF SEND on pages 66-67 of the MOXF Reference Manual. (However, the descriptions for Chorus Send and Reverb Send appear to be incorrect on those pages. See page 31 for the correct description.)

In “Performance” mode, if 4 different Voices are selected in a Performance, how do you adjust the reverb volume level and other effects of each individual voice separately?

Here’s what you can do:

From the main PERFORMANCE screen press the button labeled [PERFORMANCE CONTROL].
This activates the front panel’s sixteen numbered buttons with the functions written directly below them.
[1]-[4] become PART SELECT for PARTS [1]-[4]
[5]-[8] become ARP ON/OFF for PARTS [1]-[4]
[9]-[12] become PART MUTE for PARTS [1]-[4]
[13]-[16] become ARP HOLD ON/OFF for PARTS [1]-[4]

The PART SELECT buttons [1]-[4] work with the [COMMON] button just above, such that whichever is lit is what you are set to control.

When PART 1 is lit, the 24 KNOB CONTROL Function on the left front panel apply to PART 1.
24 Knob Control Functions? There are three rows of functions per set of knobs; successive presses of the button associated with the KNOBS will select a row of functions to be active: As you touch a knob its parameter value and original value are shown in the screen - also shown is the PART being affected. This indication is programmed to last for a set amount of time before reverting to your previous screen.

If you select PART [2] the Knobs now apply to PART 2, and so on.
When [COMMON] is lit, the Knob movements will affect all PARTS together.

So for example, if you are playing a PERFORMANCE that has DRUMS in PART 1 and you light PART SELECT [1], turning the CUTOFF knob will affect the Filter on the Drum Kit only.

If you light [COMMON] all four PARTS of the PERFORMANCE will be affected by the CUTOFF knob.

[PERFORMANCE CONTROL] gives you a command station to direct what gets affected.

If you press both [KNOB CONTROL FUNCTION] buttons simultaneously all six lights in this area come on - to indicate you have now selected a function where knobs 1-4 are VOLUME for PARTS 1-4 and knobs 5-8 are corresponding PAN knobs for PARTS 1-4.
