Is it possible to assign a sysex string to change the transpose, and then to reset it to none?
Or is it a panel button selection only?
Thanks

The MOXF Data List indicates that it’s possible to do a Master Transpose up to +/- 11 semitones. Apparently it’s also possible to do a Master Octave Shift of up to +/- 3.

Master Transpose:
F0 43 10 7F 1C 00 00 00 07 dd F7
where dd = 35 ~ 4B (-11 ~ +11 semitones), dd = 40 for no transposition

Master Octave Shift:
F0 43 10 7F 1C 00 00 00 08 dd F7
where dd = 3D ~ 43 (-3 ~ +3 octaves), dd = 40 for no shift

I verified that very similar messages work as expected on my XF.

Thanks 5pin ...I really only needed to know if it was possible and I was quite happy to hunt the data myself, but as always you come up with the goods and continue to provide more than is expected.....mucho appreciation and kudos :-)

You’re welcome. I’m certain you’re quite able to do what I did… but I’d already found the information while I verified that the MOXF had the capability, so I figured “what the heck”. Also, someone else less familiar with SysEx might find this useful.  :-)
