Hello there, after years of playing around with keyboards, just playing really, and owning different ones, motif classic, rs7000, roland juno gi, korg x50, and still having fun with a roland jd800 and a walford blofeld, I would like to buy a MOXF6 and create my own voices from start, because it seems to me that the potential is there especially with the pc editor. Can you give me some advice for a book or other stuff that I can use to go quite deep in programming voices? Because I think I have never really went deep or I have never been able to create exactly the voice I wanted. There is anything specific that I can use for the MOXF? Maybe a dvd or something. I had a look at this website but I don’t think I have seen one. By the way, I am buying the MOXF because I want to go back to a workstation with synth capability and that is portable. Any help is appreciated. Many Thanks. Regards. Luca |

There’s a DVD available right here in the Motifator shop. The examples are shown on a Motif ES but you will find most of it easily applies to MOXF. You can also go to Sound On Sound magazine’s website and read their (free) set of articles called Synth Secrets (note that the links are presented there in reverse order...start with part one!) These go into even deeper detail and are a good reference. I printed them all out many years ago and put them in a binder. |
