Can someone help?
I’m a newbie and mainly use the XF7 for live playing, so excuse my ignorance.
When I do record i’ve been using garage band and record directly into garageband by connecting the synth to a audio interface which is connected to my computer with a usb cord.
Anyway, today I recorded live piano playing for the first time directly into the XF7 and its saved as a song on the synth.
Now I want to move it into garageband.
Can I insert a USB stick into my XF7 and transfer the recording I made onto the USB stick as a .wav file?
So then I can put the USB stick into my computer and move the file into garageband?
I read that I could of recorded onto the USB stick directly, but it’s too late, as I have a recording that I like and is saved on the XF7.

It is not to late. You can, of course, record real time to the USB stick, but you can also playback your XF sequence and record it as audio to a USB stick. (The USB stick does not know the difference between YOU playing and the SEQ playing back your playing :-)

Call up the Motif XF Song you recorded
Press [FILE]
Press [F4] AUDIO
Press [SF1] REC
Give the file a Name press Enter
Set the TRIGGER LEVEL to “1”
press [ENTER] to arm the record function
Press PLAY on he XF transport, recording will begin as soon as audio occurs. The XF will countdown the available reor Tim on your drive.

When the Song is complete press [ENTER] to end recording.

You will have a stereo .WAV file 16-bit/44.1kHz

Is there a way to change the piano voice that I used in the recording that I made?
