Does the MX have the same “Quality” of sound as the MOX ? Or is it a little less in the MX ?

I like the sound quality in the MOX but dont need a workstation and this MX seems perfect if the sound is 100% the same quality.

It might have cheaper D/A converters which would impact the sound. I have played the MX49 and it sure sounds like the XS and MOX to me but the only real way to know is a blind A/B test.

You do realize that you can’t edit voices on the MX?  Download and read the manual for details.

Yeah,I was just reading up about that… Looks like the MOX is the only route to go then, I just love the simplicity of the MX and wish you didnt have to lose so much in the process going down the chain..

I had an MX49 for a short time. I thought it sounded great. I returned it for a MOX though. Not because of sound problems. I just wanted all the extra stuff the MOX gets you. In an MX, you pretty much have to be satisfied with what you have. You can do some tweaking, but nothing like you can with a MOX. Again, I thought it sounded great as it was.
