I fall in love more with this keyboard EVERY week.  I was playing bass in church and my own wife asked said she had to look around to see who was playing bass till she realized it was me.

I want to make spits on the keyboard.

I have split set, lower (bass) and upper keyboard (piano).

I would like to move the bass down an octave, and then shift the piano down an octave also because where the split occurs, the piano starts at that point in its register which is too high so i want to back it down one.

Anyone have a quick reference on this?

I want to use this because some weeks we have no bass player and i don’t want to just play block chords emphasing the lower notes.

after this i want to make a split with Bass on bottom, then a layer on the top.

Thanks.

PS.  can the moderator also post this in Stage forum.

I would like to move the bass down an octave, and then shift the piano down an octave also

From your PERFORMANCE
Press [EDIT]
Select the PART number for your Bass [1]-[4]
Select “PLAY MODE”
Cursor down to the NOTE SHIFT parameter
Set the BASS PART = -12 (down 1 octave)

Select PART 2
Set the PIANo PART = -12

Press [STORE]

after this i want to make a split with Bass on bottom, then a layer on the top.

There can be as many a four PARTS in a PERFORMANCE, the lighted PART SELECT buttons on your front panel allow you to select a PART for EDITING. (See page 81 of your REFERENCE MANUAL)

Turn the PART 3 light ON
Press [EDIT]
With PART 3 selected choose “VOICE”
Select the VOICE (BANK/Number) you want for PART 3
Press [EXIT]
Select PLAY MODE
Cursor down and set the PART’s SPLT Lo/Up = UPPER
