Hi guys, I’m having trouble creating and saving patterns to use in a song in my ES6.

Could someone please explain how to create say a drum pattern and a bass pattern and then how to use them in a song? or perhaps point me in the right direction?

This is a very broad inquiry. Two suggestions.
First, explore this particular section of the site. There are guides to various applications for the ES. You might also examing the one for the Classic, as there are guide there that also work in the ES. Patterns and Songs are fundamental the process didn’t change much between the two workstations.

When you post an inquiry, try to be as specific as possible as to what you are trying to accomplish. I understand that you want ot ‘create’ Patterns that can be used in a Song. This is somewhat vague without knowing a little bit more about your intents.

“I” use Patterns to perform Songs. I use Patterns with a series of Sections that I access when necessary to perform the Song. The Pattern Sections ‘Loop’ until I want another Section.

Songs are linear. You start and it plays to its end. This may or not be what you want.
