Hmmm, if you now how MidiYoke works, it would be easier to understand what I’m looking for… I’ll try to explain.
When playing mididata from a computer, you must select an (external) instrument that will recieve the data. If, for example, you wont to check what data is send (within the same computer) you need a midi-loopback driver like MidiYoke. One softwaretool sends the mididata to an output of MidiYoke. A second midi-software recieves that data by selecting an midi-input of MidiYoke.
Well this process could also be usefull with the audio : audio goes to an ‘output’ of the ‘audio-loopback-driver’ and another tool can then record this audio, by selecting the ‘input’ on that driver. (As you can see, if people now how MidiYoke works, it would be easier to tell what I’m looking for). |
